Man United have set up deal to sign ‘outstanding’ midfielder who dazzled Roy Keane

Manchester United has created the general framework of a contract for the Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

With Inter Milan custodian Andre Onana having a physical at Carrington today, United are close to making a significant acquisition.

After acquiring Mason Mount, Onana is another significant acquisition, and we anticipate that United will soon make more moves.

In light of ongoing rumours around Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta and Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt, finding a new striker will be a top priority.

However, there may be room for another midfielder given Casemiro’s need for more protection and competition in his role as the midfield’s anchor man.

Without Casemiro, United’s midfield didn’t quite look the same, so adding someone who can fill that position would be perfect.

He is well acquainted with Erik ten Hag, who United may have in mind as a candidate for the position.

To acquire Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, Manchester United arranged a transaction.

Sofyan Amrabat, who played under Ten Hag at Utrecht for two seasons between 2015 and 2017, is the individual in question.

Ten Hag thought Amrabat would “run through five walls” for his team because he was such a big fan.

United’s interest in Amrabat has been rumoured, but The Independent now asserts that “the fundamentals of a deal have been set up.”

Amrabat has been in touch with United, and it appears that a tentative plan for a transfer to Old Trafford is now in place.

However, the article does mention that before United could move forward with the Amrabat trade, some players would need to be sold.

Who could lend United money to relocate Amrabat?

It’s possible that this summer, actors like Donny van de Beek, Fred, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Dean Henderson, Alex Telles, Anthony Elanga, and possibly Anthony Martial will leave their current roles.

The likes of Henderson and Elanga shouldn’t be too far behind Telles, who is about to go.

With United now lining up Amrabat, not all of those mentioned will go for large money, but every little helps.

At the World Cup in Qatar, the 26-year-old was the lifeblood of the Moroccan team, putting on some incredible performances to propel his team into the semifinals.

On ITV at 7:02 p.m. on December 18, 2022, former Manchester United player Roy Keane praised Amrabat as “outstanding” for his “action-packed performance” and “real physicality.”

That kind of player is what United needs to protect Casemiro and provide competition, and Ten Hag may potentially reunite with the team this summer.
