Women exercise their voting rights, contribute to taxes, and own property. Yet, ironically, certain individuals struggle with natural bodily functions. In today’s story, a man has prohibited his partner from farting at their home, citing concerns about it being perceived as “unladylike.”
A woman took to a well-known Reddit forum to share her experience of a heated disagreement with her boyfriend following an incident where she farted in the kitchen.
“This is going to sound ridiculous, but my husband is convinced I’ve done something wrong, so I just want to make sure I’m not overlooking something,” she started.
She continued her story, “Yesterday I was watching TV with him while I was resting my head on his lap when I farted. He asked, ’Did you just fart…?’ I answered yes, and he then said, ’Don’t do that in front of me. It’s nasty and unladylike.’ I could sort of understand the nasty bit, but it was unladylike…?”
“The fart was accidental. I didn’t do it on purpose. And yes, he farts in front of me,” she finally added.
